Bricks
I have rather hit a brick wall with my blog. I found a bunch of quotations about blogging. Perhaps if I study them I can get some ideas of what to do or say.
“A blog is in many ways a continuing conversation.”
In order to continue, there must be a beginning. I have difficulty starting the conversation.
“The heart and soul of blogging is the individual and/or the group of individuals opining on the fly and responding post-haste to one and all.”
Too much flying around for me.

I did check on the Gravatar site, and this seems to be due to their cache policy, which makes pictures appear sometimes with some delay, mainly after any sort of changes youe’ve made in your profile, but I noticed this happens sometimes regardless of changes, probably due to the updating protocols of their servers, which operate several millions of pictures! I hope this makes sense:-))
Hi There,
Just me again:-)
I like your earnest struggle to do something!
May I give you a piece of (editorial) advice?
The general rule of blogging is a continuous effort to reach in order to be reached! All new bloggers, or contributors to collective publishing sites must learn that not even genius can replace the initial, “commentator” level involvement. Reading, leaving likes AND comments is THE primary unwritten rule of being read, without forgetting to always have something worth returning, should anyone decide to visit your pages. You have to make yourself noticed first in those “surroundings” in which you would like to participate. Blogging has initially been, and still is THE FREE, free-lance form of journalism, stretched of course to the nearly endless subject-categories made available by the net.
I’ve learned the above the very hard way, this being the reason (besides my editorial experience) I dare forwarding it:-)
All my best wishes!
You have more experience with this than I do. So I went traveling today.
My problem right now is getting the gravatar/avatar to appear in the side bar.
I worked too xxxx hard making that butterfly. It seems to appear in other people’s blogs but not mine. Yours does not appear in the side bar either, but it shows in the comments.
