Leave – Tag Along

Leave means goodbye
See you around sometime
Starting out on my own
I’ve new heights to climb
A new life to live
Try to be strong
Oh quit your crying
Come on and Tag Along

When I read this poem I thought of Kay Ryan…I hope you will take this as the compliment it is meant to be.
Ron
Hi Ronald! Thanks for visiting my blog and for your comment.
First of all I had to find out who Kay Ryan was/is. lol
Right off that shows that I am not a serious poetess. One of the delightful perks of blogging is learning so many new things.
And yes I will accept the compliment.
Hi Ladysighs,
Allow me to feel miserable for a bit for not showing up for a while, but as you have noticed, I’ve been working hard on my latest post “Life Sux”, which was an old debt owed to my own heart and to those who knew both me and my intelectual “allegiance”, as there are so many things which have changed after two decades of “something else”, that I had to finally sort that out:-)
Just a brief question: are you going to write only “opposite poetry” from now on?
I kind of like your unique wits -besides your truly wonderful butterflies:-))-, and I wonder if a bit more freedom of expression wouldn’t be of some -more- benefit?
All the very best!
Rom
No need at all to feel miserable….well maybe just a little bit.
I am glad you are working hard on what you seem to feel very passionate about. As for the sorting and sifting we never seem to finish doing that.
Oh, the opposite poetry. lol It is a lot of fun for now. But I will probably run out of opposites soon. And surely you know that even the simplest verse can take just as much work as any other allegiance. I honestly put a lot of thought into each one. And I looked and looked for a picture that I felt represented the rhyme.
And who would be of more benefit with more freedom or expression? Would I benefit more when I have felt happy and am having a lot of fun doing what I am doing? Or would you benefit more seeing me struggle and write something that isn’t me?
Teasing of course. lol
I see so many bloggers writing what and however they feel. I wish I had that passion or felt the need to do something bigger and better. But why do something I have no desire to do? Every once in a while a little rhyme comes to mind. I laugh and jot it down.
I like making the graphics and spend a lot of my time doing that.
You can keep prodding me!!!! I don’t mind.
I did make a post earlier that I have another blog. And truthfully I was going to see if I couldn’t write something a bit more meaningful and keep it to myself and not tell my regular followers. But found I couldn’t write anything better. Just being the same me but a bit of a different blog.
Recently some of my followers found me. They were curious what I would be doing in a new blog. And now they know I am just doing the same old ME stuff.
That’s what I was talking about! A proper, substantial reply, yeeeehaaa!
Thank you so much!
Let me tell you, maybe repeating myself a bit, that it was the exquisite intricacy and quality of your graphics, which I knew were yours, telling me there’s so much more beneath that the scarce words you used…
Even yesterday, I watched on my iPad (retina screen) the drawing to your last post both as it is and magnified, and it’s so beautiful… I am a great fan of high definition visuals, but your butterflies with all their shades and delicate curves, with the very suggestive play on couloirs, they are truly lovely, and I am being honest! You tell more with your drawings than you imagine!
And if this is the same old you stuff, well keep going it’t worth following😃
Have a lovely day!
Rom
I was a bit hesitant to open up your comment today. Thought you might not even respond after I ranted a bit.
Don’t get too fooled with the butterflies. I build on a lot on what others have done. Just add or subtract a filter or two or a bit of flair. But then I guess everything we do is just an extension of others. I am always thrilled when somebody wants to copy or use something I do or write.
You were the first I clicked on when I went blog searching. And I can’t remember what topic I typed in when looking for new blogs.
I’m sure it must have been “Silly Stuff”.
Right on Lady,
I love being fooled by what I like!
I’m with you, and by the way, “there’s truly nothing new under the moon©😜”
From the “Silly Stuff” club, have a butterflying day:-))
Rom
Caught up
I see that. lol
I am sitting here watching you go through the agony of each post.
I thought I would just wait until you were finished.
Thank you for fluttering by.
LOL. You’re welcome
I know you have noticed it already :http://utesmile.wordpress.com/2013/01/12/award-time-part-two/
utesmile! You know how honored I am with your honoring me with an award. You really deserve all you have received. I could not keep up with the award fun elsewhere and so I think I won’t try here either.
Actually, I haven’t done much here to deserve an award. LOL Unless there was an award for piddling. If you have one of those to hand out, I might reconsider.
Lots of smiles for you.
Haha, you are sweet, but seriously this blog is lovely and don’t worry, if it is too much, see it as a compliment and my sincere view that I love this blog! Continut it with joy! Love Ute x
