Hundreds of butterflies flitted in and out of sight like short-lived punctuation marks in a stream of consciousness without beginning or end. Haruki Murakami
…DREAM, reality, reality, reality, DREAM, reality, reality,…reality….DREAM,….reality, reality……… (please replace DREAM with ‘.’ to signify the death of reality, and replace reality to consciousness because it is what created the sense of reality.
Did I say it is beautiful? When the butterflies flit in my sight again, I will say it. Should I say it? It is insane to say it is beautiful when it is just some words, and not the butterfly….I must be mad.
Words and ideas are always flittering and fluttering into my mind. The problem is they flit and flutter out just as quickly and I can’t remember what I am thinking. lol
Never been a fan of Japanese thinking, as you need a special brain for such, and here the NHS doesn’t cover plastic surgery for that
What I rather intuitively feel, is it’s inner rithm, like waves of distant shores, moved by emotion winds…
And that’s where your lovely butterflies live:-)
I do not know how it can be seen on larger screens, but on mine looks like they’re moving from a 3D world onto a 2D canvas:-)
Do you think I did? Lol!
Just saw it’s another high-fly Japanese author, and concentrated on the butter… and the flies:-)
You know, when I’m doing my editorial “job” I am always afraid to encounter haikus… I looove all those people writing them and loving them… but just wait till my colleagues would deal with them:-)
Cause I can’t lie and be kind simultaneously…
Oh, but I just did! LOOOL
This is a strange thing:
My other blog is time set to correspond to the actual time that I live in.
But this blog is somehow set so that the next day comes about 6 hours before my real time. lol
So I do this one first and the other one early in the morning. Then they both get posted on the right day.

Makes no sense……..I know.
Hmmmm it may take me a while to work that out, think I need a coffee whilst I think about it
Beautiful graphics. So delicate!
I know those butterflies…
I don’t know which came first the graphic or the quote.
Probably the graphic. Then I went scrounging around looking for a quote.
I love butterflies!
‘short-lived punctuation marks’…what a thought!
I see a lot of bloggers making up their own punctuation marks. lol
I am sure I do. I guess it is allowed on your own stuff.
What a wonderful quote, not heard of this one – brilliant!
I am glad you understand the quote. lol I see the word butterfly and know it must be good.
It does seem awesome.
