My Shadow

One of my favorite books when I was young was A Child’s Garden of Verses by Robert Louis Stevenson.  It was a big book with a red cover and beautiful illustrations.  I read the poems over and over and memorized many like so many children did.  I don’t know what happened to that book.  Probably one of my siblings got it.  :(

Today is Groundhog Day and I am reminded of the poem My Shadow.  I remember singing it.  I could not find the tune.  But I did find several videos.  I thought this one was precious.

Awww that’s lovely. Oh dear, sorry I never visited you earlier, I have been very busy subscribing to the blogs I follow via email instead of reader, it is very hard work! Tartanpants! :-)

    • It is probably more work than keeping up your blog. lol

Don’t stress on coming here. I know you will when you can. Don’t know why you are in the ‘need approval’ folder. Maybe it will change.

  2. I agree – very, very, very precious…

A "Hi" is OK!
